Photographs
Two photographs of temporary decollages made from torn posters in the Paris Metro.
The advertizing posters are continuously being changed out in all of the metro stations around Paris. For some reason people are tearing and ripping paper off of the posters constantly. The professional 'poster hangers' tear off just enough of the previous posters to be able to put up new posters over the old so when people tear the posters other older posters - as many as 5-10 posters - are revealed leading to interesting and momentary compositions. The photo above suggests at least 7 layers of posters.
